HUNTERDON TRANSFORMER MEETING THE NEEDS OF CONTINUED GROWTH

Hunterdon Transformer Company has leased over 25,000 square feet of additional production and warehousing space to meet the increasing growth of the company. Situated in Phillipsburg, NJ the facility is less than 10 minutes away from the main facility.

All materials are now received in the warehouse and a rack body truck was purchased to carry items back and forth 3-4 times daily.

Hunterdon has also purchased an additional crane that can work independently or in conjunction with the other crane now expanding the ability to lift over 80,000 lbs. A new steel cutting machine now provides Hunterdon with the ability to cut steel to 24" widths. In addition, a new steel winding machine has been added which increases capacity, speed and size ranges in our Toroid department.

Hunterdon Transformer Company employees proudly display the 1,171st unit of our RC-1345. It is an input choke/reactor for the Exxon-Mobil Qatar II Liquefied Natural Gas Project (see Qatar II LNG under google.com for more information.) For each large transformer on the project, Hunterdon is building 63 of these reactors. The total order over the next two years is for 3,600 units. This does not include the 819 manufactured over the past year. This particular order is different for us - in the 48 year history of the company we have never built so many of one unit! Rather our custom designs produced usually just one unit.

Hunterdon has a long-standing reputation for providing the customer with custom products that are designed for the customer's unique application. Rather than forcing the customer to accept a standard configuration, Hunterdon has invested in systems and processes to allow us to provide custom configurations to the customer with short cycle times at a high degree of accuracy and quality.

Hunterdon Transformer Company is boasting its best year in the history of the company. October was a record month in sales and projections for next year call for an additional 40% in sales.

Hunterdon Transformer Company has been selected by ASIRobicon to provide transformers for the Qatargas II project which is the largest LNG (Liquified Natural Gas) project in the world. Exxon-Mobil, in joint venture, with Qatar Petroleum signed an agreement in December 2004 for $12 billion for the engineering procurement and construction contracts.

GE Energy is supplying three gas turbine driven compressors as well as large electric motor/generators and ASIRobicon is supplying the variable frequency drives.

The 15 MVA transformers, measuring in the enclosure, are over 13' feet high and 60,000 pounds and are the largest Hunterdon has ever built. They are a combination water-cooled and air-cooled design.

The transformers will be going to Italy for final assembly and then packed and shipped to Qatar.

For more that 40 years Hunterdon Transformer Company has designed and manufactured high-performance magnetic devices to deliver efficient, reliable power in a wide range of applications. Most of this business being in the area of liquid cooled transformers.
